16 ounce can. Canned on 11/01/18. Features Amarillo, Topaz and Rakau hops. Murky tan pour us topped by a frothy beige head. Faint citrus hop nose. Tangy citrus hop flavor upfront. Notes of passionfruit, tangerine and apricot. Some boozy notes. Tasty and quaffable at 7% ABV.

Lovely nose full of roasted peanut, milk chocolate, char, prune and vanilla that all give a highly aromatic, rich character with good balance and no alcohol or overdone aspects.
Flavor is slightly less exciting with more caramel, lactose and somewhat disjointed peanut butter, as well as a bit of thinning. Seems more adjunct-textured than malt textured at points, though the individual flavors are all good. Low, somewhat engaging carbonation and moderate attenuation. Very solid for a regular canned offering. The recipe seems great and hopefully gets refined further.

16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold color. Frothy white head. Fragrant tropical fruit nose. Lots of juicy goodness. Notes of lemon, tangerine, guava and melon. Amazing flavor for a pale ale with low alcohol. Bready malt and exotic fruit flavor. Delicious.

Comment: At first sniff it actually had quite a nice aroma, but it is quickly overwhelmed by the sweet lactose, peanut butter mix. Flavour is sweet, peanut and just too much. Seems to be very hard to make a decent beer with peanut butter in it.

Super hazy golden, peach, coppered and even light brown coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white, tan head - very hazy throughout. Aroma of mild tropical fruits with a lot of guava, papaya, a touch of yeast and bread and very little else. Medium-bodied; Super pungent biting hops up front that show lemondrop hops along with some other citrus components, with a big dose of alcohol, bitterness and punch towards the end with a light malt backbone which accentuates the hops and citrus flavours, in a good way. Aftertaste shows almost exclusively the lemondrop (which it seems?) hops or some hybrid/fake varietal that isn't typical, but hits this beer nicely and adds a great complexity at the end. Overall, a pungent, well-structured and hop-centric beer that hits nicely and stays for quite a while without being saturated in one profile or another, but definitely showcases this, seemingly, lemondrop/hybrid hop varietal. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-November-2018 for US$3,79, sampled just two days later at my parents-in-law's house in Seymour, Connecticut on 23-November-2018.

Draft pour for flight at The Grill Next Door. Appearance is opaque, dark brown with thin ring of head, no discernible sparkle and no lacing. Aroma is strong peanut butter without getting much else. Taste is peanut butter, almost a coffee bitterness out of the roasted malt and a pleasant earthy bitterness and milky/lactose. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture with average carbonation; finish is mainly peanut butter and fairly dry. Overall, the peanut butter dominates everything else. This doesn't compromise the stout, but makes it one dimensional.
