On tap at the Harrisburg brew pub. Pours a watery gold with a zero head. Nose is totally bland, watery perfume, mild grass. Flavor is totally watered down, lemon, malt, a little perfume. Watery finish.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy dark golden amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweetish bread crust and honey. The flavor was tangy and sweet with notes of orange, tropical fruits, honey and bread. Medium length tangy and sweet orange, tropical fruit and honey finish. Medium body. Solid.

The appearance had a hazy golden colored body leaving no head, and some fizziness is heard when it was poured. Some light carbonation is seen rising.
The smell was wheat and lemon up front.
The taste was basically the same.
The palate was about a light to medium in body, semi-carbonated and watery.
Overall, though I got this in a year round variety pack, this seems more of a beer that would be better in the summer. Not bad, but nothing spectacular, and decent for the style.

The appearance was a light amber colored body that leaves no head, minimal lacing is left.
The smell had malts up front with a bit of floral/earthiness going on.
The taste was basically the same adding a bit of graininess.
The palate sat about a light to medium leaving a dry feel on the tongue yet nothing harsh there either, sessionable.
Overall, this was decent but nothing to go out of my way for again.

The appearance was a clear golden colored body with small slowly rising bubbles. A small white head leaving a film on top of the beer appeared and left some light mild lacing.
The smell was malty with some really light citrus.
The taste was malts and light citrus and added a slight corn taste that ended up tasting pretty good.
The palate was light and left a sweet yet wet aftertaste and finish.
Overall, this was a good dortmunder that I would come back to. I’m glad I picked up a variety pack with this in it.

The appearance was a clear brown colored body with a nice white filmy head that died immediately before I even took a sip. No lacing was left and no carbonation was seen rising.
The smell had smokey malts up front with some slight hints of coffee and sweet bread in the background.
The taste was dry with the nice light smokiness coming back to add a sweet maltiness.
The palate was light, slightly creamy with nothing harsh on the tongue, sessionable.
Overall, this was pretty good, I’m glad when I picked up the variety pack from ABC that this was in.

On tap pour at Red Robin, Hershey, PA
The appearance has a dark brown/black body yields an off-white/tan one finger head, lotsa light sediment floating around, light tan lacing slides down.
The smell has deep dark chocolate, light coffee and malts come out once the beer warms a bit.
The taste is mainly sweet through the chocolate, coffee becomes practically non-present in the taste.
The palate is about a medium, comes across sweet and creamy, and has a sweet sticky aftertaste, dry finish, not as sessionable.
Overall, this was perhaps closer to a milk/sweet stout because of the sweet complexities that come out in it, however, this was still a good beer that impressed me as I found as I got to the bottom of this one that was real chunks of chocolate floating around. I’d probably get this one again as a dessert.

The appearance had a slight amber to yellow body with a thin white head that died after a good fifteen seconds. Some really light lacing was left.
The smell had some piney hops up front with the typical earthy malts backing up a normal English IPA as it should be.
The taste was basically the same adding a bit of biscuity fullness to the finish and adding a nice sweet aftertaste to it.
The palate was about a medium with a dry feel on my tongue, and a nice sessionability to it.
Overall, this is good for its style and for me, but nothing that is spectacular.

Keg at Appalachian, Collegeville, 29/11/13. Dark mahogony brown with a good sized tan covering that retains well. Nose is dark fruits, sugars, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises dark fruits, straw, brown sugars, light spice, dates. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry closure. So so, lacks any great character and depth.

Tap at Appalachian, Collegeville, 29/11/13. Clear golden with a thin off white covering. Nose is pale malts, straw, grass, light citric fruit, bread dough. Taste comprises pale malt, caramel notes, bread dough, cereals, lemon rind, sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp dry closure. Ok pils.
