4 oz. draft at Extreme Beer Fest, 3 Feb, 2018. Pitch black color. Aroma is bourbon and a large slap of orange zest. The flavor has a mega fuck ton of orange zest and bourbon. Bourbon is so forward that it burns after the sip. Add the orange and bourbon flavors together and it tastes like a strong orange liquor. Maybe I would like more age. Well, it is extreme. However, entirely too hot.

The Tip Tap Room, Boston tap: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is sugary corn mix and maltiness. Taste is sweet and some milk chocolate notes. Some spiciness. Not a huge fan.

Sample at Release the Funk 5. Hazy to cloudy orange yellow color. Earthy rosemary aroma. Just the right amount of rosemary complementing the earthiness of the taste.

11 day old can > IPA glass A: Pours light gold with 1" pillowy head, retaining well and lacing in blotches. Slight haze. S: Light aroma of peach, tangerine and a little melon over light cracker malts. T: Half tart half bitter with lots of citrus pith and a little underripe citrus pulp. Maybe a hint of biscuit but little malt noticed. M: Light, thin and spritzy with just a bit of resin on the finish. O: Trophy's light, snappy tropical type SIPA is pretty good overall but not as good as their excellent (but stronger) Trophy Wife. I'd buy again.
