From Beer Drop, canned April 12th 2023.

It pours a clear pale gold with lots of bubble action, a 2 finger head of foam, good lacing.

A very floral nose with light hoppiness, some grain, hint of corn.

The taste is hoppy in a light citrus way, grainy and again with a hint of corn. Earthy malt rounds it out.

Good mouthfeel.

Very refreshing dryish Lager.

12 day old pint can A: Clear pale gold with a short, quick head leaving a ring and pad. S: Crisp lemon and orange citrus with light toast. T: Similar to the nose. Bitter with a bit more orange than lemon over the light toasty malts. A nutty note from the seeds at the end. M: Light with spritely carbonation and a slightly oily texture. O: Pretty good and the sunflower seeds do no harm. I dig it.

Pretty hazy golden and light straw coloured body with a very thin, barely a single centimetre tall pure white head that stays afloat for a while over the 60 per cent opaque body, but without any real head or lace to cap it off. Aroma of coriander seed, deep pepper, a bunch of grass and hay with some lighter wheat and even more subdued yeast notes, but there is also some bubblegum here as well, all making the nose pretty mild throughout. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively strong and robust breadie and yeast flavours come through (after not smelling any at all), with some coriander seed freshness and the smallest hint of a curacao or orange flavour as well, with some lighter bitterness from the malt and grain right behind. Aftertaste shows a pretty strong and drying beer that almost shows more of a herb/spice/veg rather than a wit or even a saison with the deeper, hay-like and grassy notes as the coriander seed and especially the curacao or oranges are way further down in the taste than the former. Overall, still a decent enough beer and one that is enjoyable, especially in the middle of summer with the heat as it is here in the Mid-Atlantic. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Cary (Crossroads Boulevard), North Carolina on 30-May-2021 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 28-July-2022 after a 90 degF day here in the city and to celebrate that I'll be leaving for North Carolina in a day on vacation.

From a can practically absconded from total wine for $2 in NC. Popped the lid and a slug right out of the can, not real cold, it still is refreshing. Good co2 fer-sher. Finally, pour this into glass reveals an eye that is refreshing as the taste, no stupid ass hazy thing here, just good clean pale bubbly filtered beer fun. I don't need any BS floating around in my beers. Nice head too, white and craggy. Smell is sterile pilsner. In the middle a little bit of old euro bitter pils also sneaks into the flavor. I always say, a test of a good beer is what it tastes like just near room temp and this stuff passes with pale yellow sparkles. On the finish I'm pleasantly surprised, I should of got a sixer. I like clean simple lagers, it takes a good craft brewer to make a decent cheap pale lager and Mort's does it.
