Aromas are mild resin hops and some pale malt. Flavors are much better with fresh resin hops (Strangely, in the can the hops tasted much fresher and better than in the glass), Great balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. finish follows flavors, Satisfying beer.

I remember when Duck Foot had a great rep. Last few beers that I've had of theirs have been pretty meh. This one has old hops. Bitter and sweet aren't balanced. It's drinkable, but just.

I like Duck Foot but this is not one of their better beers. Aromas are very subtle basic beer with a touch of honey. Honey comes out a little more in the flavors, Bittersweet with an odd maybe hop quality. Don't pick up much Belgian character. One and done.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is some lager malt and not much else. Flavor is sweet malt with a little grassy hop. Drinkable but a bit thin and not too exciting.

Crystal clear deep copper and bronze coloured body with a bright amber glow and a very thin, pretty ugly one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, a lot of sugars from pineapple, caster sugar and toffee, even with some breadiness around, but also some resinous hops. Medium-bodied; Nice balance between a relatively light (especially for the style and alcohol content) maltiness (this must have been the 'low gluten' thing) with a good dose of resinous and very piney hop notes that dry out the palate before some of the sugars come in at the end and try to rescue the profile, but the balance is struck fairly cleanly with some nice flavours and richness, while still being easy-drinking enough, considering the potency here. Aftertaste is rich, deep and showing some nice flavours, while providing real bitterness from the hops, without sugars being cloying and perhaps the most impressive part is how the alcohol is still hidden well - this shows at around 8 or at most 9 % alcohol, so the ABV is nicely shaded. Overall, a surprisingly nice beer with a great profile and well-struck balance with bitterness and sugars, but not overly so. The alcohol (a lot of course), is hidden well, so be careful, but this one was great to sample fresh, especially after being purchased up in Alaska and brought back the entire length of the country! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 05-October-2021 for US$5,75 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-October-2021.

Dark brown, thin head. Med body, roasty, nutty, but could benefit from more sugars. This starts strong but kind of dissipates in the finish.

Bright pale amber, not much head. Nice biscuity malt that is quickly overwhelmed by sugars and bubblegum… dammit so close. I mean there’s nothing beyond that.

Pale, just a slight haze. Medium head. Decent balance, some weedy, lemony hops.

Dark brown, just a thin head. Chocolate and roast on the nose. On the palate the same but a bit thin, just kind of craps out…ok bear in mind I came here after Pure Project and AleSmith so the impy won’t stand up to the world level impies down the street.

Gold-amber, slight haze. Not much head. Light plastic phenols, hints of bubblegum speak to ferm temp issues. Sticky sweet, not bringing much positive.
