Proper pint at Cornish Pasty Co in North-ish Vegas. Deep, still, Opaque Kedem grape juice pour. Sweet, faint apple, communal wine smell. Taste is deeply sweet grape juice & a deep push of tannic apple skin to dry it out. Juicy then itchy. Just tart enough, barely fermented, lingering grape jelly. Manichevitz. Morally okay, drank good.

Can 0.473l, Mexican Hot Chocolate edition. Clear, deep gold colored. AROMA- cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple, vanilla, flowery. FLAVOR- sweet, fermented, cocoa/chocolate, cinnamon, strongly nutmeg, somewhat close to pickled cucumber, apple cider base, flowery, just really slight touch of chilli in the aftertaste. Medium bodied. Really interesting one.

On tap @ Cider Junction. Short pour for the very cautious. Bright, clear, dark Ecto Cooler green. Strong doughy, earthy nose. Not what I want in a cider typically. Chalky, super bold veggi-mite flavor. Decent acid & tartness, but oh God it's all Veggi-mite, Nilla wafer & lemon. No lime or mango that I can find. Low bitterness & thin, middling carbonation. Really ugly. Bad combo. Nope.

On tap @ Cider Junction. Mostly clear, jellied/chill hazed gold, very frothy. Nose reminds me of passion fruit bobi tea jelly balls. Taste is grassy, herbal, peach potpurri; Maybe too strong. Full body, slick, medium carb, okay abv. Dialing it all back would have been much better. Okay.

Can from Total Wine Vegas. Short glass back at the hotel. Clear, medium gold, oily white lace. Baked apple & a strong cinnamon nose with just a bit of noticeable floral. Juicy pedestrian apples, lightly bittersweet, followed by a heavy amount of chamomile, then stomped out by dusty dry & bitter cinnamon & some sulfites. The florals are actually really nice. Really caked & dusty with spice. Soda carbonation. Whatever abv. No real drinkability here. Nope.

Single tall boy from one of the Total Wines in Vegas. Poured into an odd 10oz glass that was in my cupboard at the hotel. Frothy, clear, medium gold pour. Smell is a pineapple-esque tropical mash up with softly delicate apples & wine yeast. Juicy & pedestrian mix of dessert & bittersweet apples(I think). Moderately low acidity, with so-so tartness. Fermented to off-dry & backsweetened with agave nectar. A fresh, full-flavored, malic acid, sulfite dustiness, Martinelli's 2.0, with mild seed bitterness on the tail. Still too sweet. Thick & rich body, a touch warm for only 6.5%. Okay in a short pour, though I expected better.

Can 0.473l. Clear, deep gold colored. AROMA- sour and exotic, lots of exotic fruit - dragon fruit, strawberries, apple. FLAVOR- lightly sour, slightly sweet, the same as aroma. Medium bodied. Really tasty.

New cidery! Brewery #2063. USA #1664. California cidery #7. Pint can from Woodman's Appleton, 6/25/22. Amber, very slight haze. Bit of a head. Aroma of chai, apple, vanilla. Taste is much the same, but the apple is a bit more tart. Basically a mulled apple cider. Tasty.

On tap @Amplified, near the park. Half pint. A bit weary of the sweet. Dark honey gold, translucent pour. Smell is citrus, mango-ish, with sharp apple essence. Taste is refreshingly tart, acidic, but semi-sweet & tolerable. Fresh tropical fruit & bold tart/sour, mildly tannic dessert juice that lingers with a slick feel. Low booze, easy drinking, sulfite heavy. Surprisingly okay.
