We specialize in producing distinctive all-malt lager and other German and Czech style beers. We use only the finest, most appropriate malts, hops, water and yeast in our beers. While our lagers are similar to those made in Germany and the Czech Republic, they are our own unique interpretation of the style.
Lager beers are fermented at lower temperatures than ale, using yeast that has adapted to cooler fermentations. Low temperature fermentations create fewer “yeasty” aromas, esters, and flavors that are so common in ales. We brew lagers because we enjoy their smooth malty and hoppy character.

Pale amber, bright, with a thick head. Bright, fresh cracking malt, nice biscuity aromas. Same on the palate. Full and sweet. Nice malts, soft body. Just a touch of bitterness.

Can. Pours clear chestnut, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is a bit dusty, caramelized sugars, noble hop. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Fairly sharp. Hint of smoke. Medium body. A bit overattenuated perhaps? It doesn't have the rich malty character i would expect.

Can from Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA, via Sergey
Dark brown colour. This is totally a caramel beer, it has a good malt depth, moderately sweet, full bodied and sweet, with accents of dark caramel in the finish; it doesn't have the fruity esters of many American doppelbocks.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy rusted red with a small beige head. Aroma is crisp, with dry bready malt, plenty of nice hopping, and biscuity malt. Flavour is dry and bready, with lots of dry crusty bread, light-to-moderate bitterness, and crisp biscuity malt. Dry, bready, crisp and adequately bitter. Highly drinkable and tasty.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Nose is clean and laid back, with lots of bready malt. Flavour is well-hopped for the style, with a nice soft bready malt base and gentle hoppy bitterness. Clean, bready and vibrant. Very good.

16 oz. can, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a nice herbaceous and grassy hop character, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is crisp and bitter, with plenty of spicy, grassy hops, crisp biscuity malt, light herbaceousness, and straw. Spicy, grassy, biting and highly crisp. Seems more like a Czech pils to me with its aggressive spicy and grassy hopping. Very tasty.
