Description
Craft Beer, Done Right

ISLEY BREWING COMPANY is a Micro Craft brewery located in Richmond, Virginia.

We were the first Craft brewery to open in the Scott’s Addition area in the Fall of 2013 by owner and Richmond native, Mike Isley.

It’s been our intention from the beginning to make the best craft beer with the best ingredients for our guests to enjoy in our expansive tasting room.

To this day, our founding brewer, Josh Stamps, is still turning out award winning beers and winning people’s hearts with his artisan’s approach to brewing.

Stamp's accomplishments include:

- Choosy Mother ranking #23 in the state of Virginia by Beer Advocate, and voted Best Beer in Richmond 2020
- Creating the best IPA in Virginia 2014 by CAH
- Keeping us in the top 3 Breweries in Richmond for 3 years running
- Helping make Isley one of the top 50 brewery destinations in the world to visit by USA TODAY!

We are committed to our guests and retailers in continuing to earn your respect and loyalty. Our goal is to make YOU love what we do as much as WE love what we do.

Can pour from Steve. Opaque dark brown with thin head quickly fading to a ring and no lacing. Aroma is strong peanut butter, roasted malt. Taste is peanut butter but overshadowed by a tart quality. Smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste (unfortunately). Aroma was promising. Given other fairly high scores, this was probably improperly stored/old but not good.

16 oz can shared by tfontana. Aroma is great peanut butter mild roast, really promising. Unfortunately this is something that needs to be kept in refrigerator because the peanut turned sour. Pretty much impossible to drink.

Taster at brewery. Amber pour with a small foamy head. Aroma and taste are hoppy and malty, big time, like a blast from the NW past. Maybe a bit more fruity, but definitely a mouthful of hops
