A golden lager with a thick white head. A lightly sweet grainy malt aroma with light hopping. In mouth....yummy. A good malt base, with definite biscuiity sweetness, a pleasant hoppiness, very crisp. Not quite like the pils at l’Amere which I like so much, but getting there. Can LCBO.

341 mL bottle from LCBO single bins. Dark golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, light biscuit malt with herbal hops notes. In mouth, quite a pleasing lager, with slightly sweet biscuit malt, and pungeant german hops, with some mineral chalky notes. Medium bodied. Good thing Molson didnt fudge up the recipe on this one.

Clear, deep gold color with a long lasting head of puffy foam. Sweet malt aroma, little hops. Light sweet flavor with little bitterness. Smooth and filling for a Lager. Not bad.

Bottled 0.5 l. A golden amber colour, with a almost nonexistant white head. Probably the best lager I’ve ever tried. Has a nice and rich taste. A huge thanks goes to a friend who brought it from Canada.

Chestnut brown, clear; virtually no head (dark yellow rim). Rich, liqueurish nose - but not much else, not very outspoken. Bitter hoptaste overlying typical bready Bockbiertaste. Taste reminds me somehow of bitter plus chestnut flour - horsechestnut? Again, not very outspoken, seems to be characteristic of this brewery. Bit sulphury finish. Quite a bit of adstringency, dry-out effect. This seems indeed a (North)American interpretation of a Bock. But why doesn’t Creemore put a bit more aggressiveness in their taste? Thanks anyway, Jeff.

Clear amber-orange; white head, reduced to nothing in seconds. faint orangey smell - cookie malt. Faint hoppy bitterness overlying typical ale-type malt. Very refreshing, even when the malt takes care of sweet counterbalance. Medium bodied. Hoppiness keeps in the aftertaste. This is a very strange lager. A bitter pilsener version of a sweetish Belgian amber ale. The hoppiness hugely benefices the amber "ale" character. It’s not a classic for that, however. Thanks, Jeff radiomgb!

This beer pours a nice amber colour with a creamy white head. Initial smell comes up with citrus and caramel malt. First taste is smooth with flavours of malts and a slight bitter hop taste. I find this brewery to have its own flavour like non other. The palate is pleasant with a slight bitterness and sugary malt flavours.

Tap - Copper brew with a small head. Malty aroma with a medium body. Taste is very creamy which I approved with small traced of burnt malt. Not the best of bock but still a great beer that should be made available all year long.
