Bottle thanks to Bursprak! Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aromas of wet forrest floor, oranges, citrus, light gooseberries, some appley and tannic notes. Taste is light tannic, orangey, red apples and rapes, vinegary, horsey and a subtle fruity acidity in the back. Super nice!

Subtly sour, easy going, brown sugar, low carb, great aroma. Interesting. Earthy and that horse blanket thing. Musty. Feels like a cross between gueuze and lambic and faro. Citrus and gooseberry. Nice

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very nice with lots of oak, lemon, herbal and earthy funk. A nice mustiness with hints of green grapes. Pours a slightly hazy, murky, dull, orange color with a medium sized, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes to a small film that lingers. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness. Faint bitterness. Lemon and green grapes notes with quite a bit of oak. Lots of earthy, herbal funk as well with good musty notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice gueuze. Lots of funk and oak with some nice mustiness and lemon notes. I'm not sure if it's the oak or something else but there is something in the flavor that's a bit rough, otherwise this would be world class.

Fruit IPA (sweet cherry and peach – a combination I have never seen in any IPA, or any beer, so far) made by the famed NaparBCN in collaboration with Belgian Hedonis. From tap at Gainsbar in Kortrijk. Creamy, egg-white, large-bubbled but well-retaining head lacing in irregular shreds over a murky, ruddy-hued bronze beer with deep orange-peachy hue. Aroma of overripe peaches indeed, sweet cherry as well but much less obviously so, dried orange peel, medlar, old biscuit, soggy bread, ripe pear, damp earth, cloves, bitter weeds, baker’s yeast, apple sauce. Fruity, estery onset with indeed a lot of ‘real’ fruitiness, again much more peach than sweet cherry, altogether sweet but not overly so; harsh, stinging carbonation, smooth malt sweet body, bready and biscuity in a ‘soggy’ kind of way, bit caramelly too. The sweet fruit continues well into the end without completely covering the malt sweetness, and gets countered there by an earthy, weedy hop bitterness reminiscent of bitter citrus peel and dried bitter herbs; meanwhile strong estery and even phenolic (clove) effects develop, with a very bready yeastiness softening the finish. Interesting beer, feeling very ‘Belgian’ in its overt yeastiness and at the same time very ‘un-Belgian’ in its combination of fruits and bitter hops; very distinct and original, while very drinkable and refreshing as well. I liked this a lot, even if it had apparently passed its prime already.

Bottled @ Sori Taproom, shared with oh6gdx. As Kraftank Barcelona Oude Gueuze. Poured hazy and golden in color, thin white head. Bretta nose, funk, barnyard, apples, inviting aroma indeed. Flavors were barnyard, green apples and earthy notes. Dry finish. Really nice one, 3 Fonteinen wibes over it.

Hazy golden colour, white foam. Brett, citrus, funk along with some metallic notes. Typical De Troch profile. Not bad, not the best geuze either.

Thanks Justin for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing pale amber with no head The nose shows moderately intense notes of herbal medicine and light brett. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Moderately but balanced tartness with forward brett and light notes of dry apricot. Very well made.

Slightly cloudy golden amber color. Lots of cobwebs, horse blanket, dried apricot, hay, the funkiness is intense and see. Ripping sourness. Wow. I love this. Straight forward gueuzue that is done right.
