On tap at the brewery. Pours pitch black. Blackcurrant, liquorice, strong blackcurrant, loads of smoke, wood smoke, charcoal, campfire, bit of umami stuff. Medium body. Not bad.

On tap at the brewery. Pours red brown. Caramel, cherry, strawberry, orange peel, biscuit, touch of pepper. Medium body. A very good amber ale.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy bright orange. Orange, grapefruit, lemon, lots of herbal stuff, burnt toast sneaks in, caramel and biscuit to finish over a nice juiciness. Good body. Decent beer except that wild toast twist in the middle which is pretty unpleasant.

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Mandarin, really floral, lavender, salt, fragrant orange peel, sharp grapefruit juice acidity. Low carbonation. Not bad, but perhaps lacking the subtlety I would like.

MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, bit sweet, some caramel, malty, soft bitterness, fruity. Aftertaste: banana peel, some citrus, malty, caramel touch.

Basically everything you want out of a white IPA (not being totally ironic here). Some citrus and a little of that hefeweizen vibe. Golden pour with thick head of lacing. Not bad for style, just not my style. Tap at brewpub.

Getting into the good stuff here. New England IPA style aroma on the nose. This one's pretty good. Green onion and fresh pineapple. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Nice stuff. Tap at brewpub.
