500ml (thx Matt and Renny) @ Sales Force. Appearance: a bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: weird herbal/flowery/grassy/earthy notes coming from coffee beans. Taste: quite acidic, lots of coffee beans. Overall: meh, got me back to the Rare Barrel Sours early days.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice mix of bourbon, coffee, and a nice mixed culture. Flavour has a surprisingly nice blend of coffee beans, bourbon, and tart stone fruits. Nice buggy character in there that somehow blends with the coffee and barrels. Very good.

(500ml 2019 bottle from the brewery) Pours nearly clear medium orange with a thick whitish head that fades slowly with little lace. Aroma is tart and vinous, heavy somewhat phenolic strawberry, white wine with green apple/pear tones, soft sweetish pale malt, some spicebox and leather quality to the Brett without heavy funk. Flavour is fairly dry overall, lightly tart, a lot of dusty cellar and leather Brett notes dominating, soft sugar-free cereals, some white wine must, phenolic and softly spicebox-laden, light lactic acidity, strawberry is there but has faded to a more phenolic and lightly bitter expression, finish is bone dry and moderate-plus bitter, tannic and a bit astringent from the berry pips, very dusty into the aftertaste. Lightish body, very filling and quite fine foamy bottle-conditioned carbonation. This was a mostly forgotten bottle that's held up well, probably was fruitier when fresh but the Brett is quite expressive now.
