MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter up front, resinous, floral, a bit soapy, more resinous hops. Aftertaste: pretty resinous, bitter, a bit medicinal, hoppy.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma has tequila barrels, orange piths, and some wheatiness. Flavour is full of pithy orange juice, tequila barrels, and a touch of salt. A bit murky and pithy, but nice tequila character.

Hazy and pale, with a thick head. There's a nice brett aroma to this, dried flowers, and a bit of orange peel. Very dry, lean body, again the dried flowers, and peppery accents. Ok, this really hits. It's a bit too lean for me, but this works.

[2021 vintage] Pours dark brown with small beige head. Roast, caramel malts, and whiskey barrels on the nose. Flavour has whiskey, dry barrels, fairly toned down malts, some boozy heat on the finish. Rather thin-bodied.

[2018 vintage?] 650mL bottle. Pours black with no head. Whiskey, gentle malts, and dried fruit on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts, tart dried plums, plenty of hot whiskey throughout, especially on the finish. Some oxidation. A bit thin on the palate.

[2021 vintage] 330mL bottle. Pours deep dark brown with small beige head. Aroma has a bunch of rye barrels up front with dark malts underneath. Flavour has a ton of rye barrels, well-integrated into the base stout, gentle smokiness. Not super complex, but still very enjoyable BA stout.
