Can from the LCBO. Murky pale orange with a small white cap that fades quickly to a sheet and leaves sparse lace. Nose is muted tropical fruit and citrus with some grains. Flavour follows with a light sweet malt base supporting a medium- pineapple and citrus peel bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation. 7/3+/7-/4-/14

473ml can. Pours a clear red copper with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, date and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, toffee, date, floral and spicy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Well balanced and enjoyable.

Clean, golden colour with a frothy white head, good retention and foamy lacing streaks. Alright, really smells like a Belgian ale with the spices, sugars, some medicinal notes and grassiness over the sweet malts. Where is shifts, is in the taste. The apples and mild sourness shows up. Other than that, the rest continues as a good Belgian strong ale. Gets hazier as it pours. Nicely done, but not one I could have another (as most Belgian ones).

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold orange with a small, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of caramel malt, peach, orange, strawberry and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of caramel malt, orange, grapefruit pith, apricot and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid.
