Bottle. Pours deep brown with no head. Nose is nothing. Well, almost nothing, there’s some super faint sweetness and perhaps even some coconut (or maybe it’s just I know that it’s supposed to be there). In taste it’s moderately sweet with a faint coconut touch again. Light, almost watery body, soft carbo, slightly more prominent coconut in the finish. Not quite there.

Bottle at home. Pours clear deep golden and thin, quickly dissolving head. Nose and taste is mostly ruled by the grape and wine character, leaving almost no space for the saison characteristics. Pleasant brew, but I would’ve liked more beer.

Deep, unclear copper colour, huge, everlasting beige head. A classis west coast IPA with a definite and pleasant if a bit unsophisticated resinous hop profile. Lingering bitter finish, light body, average carbo. Pleasant, but a bit dull.

Bottle. Jet black pour, thin brown head that disappears quickly. Sweet nose and taste with notes of chocolate, malts, roasted earthiness and some booze. Not supercomplex, but definitely well rounded. Medium to heavy body, average carbo, long sweet boozy finish.

Bottle at home, from 2016, #2556 . Pours deep, semi hazy golden with thick, quickly disappearing head. Nose is peaty, bacon, a touch of sweetness. In taste the smoke is more moderated, leaving space for the wheat wine characteristics and the long lasting finish is a joint effort too, there's some smoke and some sweet wheatwine character as well. Light to medium bodied with soft to medium carbo. It seems that time did this one good as there's no trace of the overwhelming, unbalanced smoke, this is a delicious, well balanced beer indeed.

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with no head. Nose is chocolate, cocoa powder, earthy notes, a fruity touch; quite pleasant but not too deep. Taste is chocolate again, there's cocoa too, and a good amount of fruity character from the wine, some woody touch and a definite, but not overpowering warming alcohol presence too. The body feels a bit too thin, which is a pity cause otherwise it's a pretty great beer.
