Dark with a creamynhead. Light milk chocolate, sweet molasses, a bit sweet. Creamy body. Something slightly off here. Not bad but feels like it isn’t where it was meant to be.

The draught board says 7.1%. Black with a creamy tan head. Lovely soft roasted notes, chocolate, a hint of sweet caramel, cream. Medium, frothy, smooth body. Finish is lightly sweet with a hint of roast dryness. A simple but marvelously brewed porter.

Half pint at the brewhouse, last in the keg, pours a muddy brown with some frothy, off white head. Nose is nutty, toffee, bread crust, earthy cocoa nib. Flavor is a little messier, could have been the pour, cream soda, butterscotch, black tea, marzipan. Finishes medium bodied, lightly tannic.
