On tap at Schilling, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out medium sweet apples, some apple core and a touch of caramel. Flavour tastes like ripe apple cores, with medium sweetness and some prominent pithy notes. Apple cores galore - this works pretty well. Nice one.

Great Taste of the Midwest 2015. Red color. Berry in the aroma and also in the flavor. Lightly sweet, simple and good flavor, I actually thought this was a mead for some reason. As a refreshing summer beverage, it does the job.

Refrigerated 75 cl green bottle corked and capped poured into a white wine glass. Almost clear with a pale straw with small white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is dry pears, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is semi-sweet pear with some alcohol in the finish. Best perry I have had.

Draft. Clear golden color. Aroma of dried apple skins. The taste is more spice forward, with apple pie spices just like a nicely done pumpkin beer would have pumpkin pie spices.

Government shutdown beverege #3, thank you Congress. Hazy light straw color. Aroma of fresh apple flesh and dried apple skins. Taste is light applesauce. Simpler and cleaner than a House floor speech.

Sampled at the 2013 Chicago Cider Summit. Pours a bubbly pale champagne like color with some visible carbonation. Aroma is very dry with pears with a hint of a chemical note. Flavor comes through with sweet pear up front that mellows to a bit of a dry but mealy finish.

Sampled at the 2013 Chicago Cider Summit. Pours a clear pale yellow with a bubbly white head that starts and remains at the edges and has some visible carbonation. Aroma is pretty faint with a combination of sweet and tart apples. Flavor is a touch thin with light tart apples with a bit of a dry finish. Heavily carbonated.

Bottle @ home. 2008 vintage. Pours a fairly clear, golden appearance with an initial fizzy head that quickly disappears. A touch funky, herbal, dry, apple skin, spritzy aroma. Refreshing, moderately tart, dry, a bit floral, lightly earthy, apple flavor that is very easy to drink and refreshing.
