Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, spicy - nutmeg - cinnamon - cardamom. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, chocolate, coffee, roasted, cocoa, soicy, medium dry, coffee - dark berry tart - sour. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20221015]

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark brown head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, coffee, fudge, some dark caramel, earthy, woody, toasty-nutty overtones, a touch of morello. Taste is bitter and tart-ish, roasty, dark malty, slightly chocolately and earthy woody, slightly fruity, notes of coffee and morello. Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying, simultaneously minimally astringent palate, fine, soft carbonation. Intense, rich, good balance, a bit disharmonious nevertheless - good but not outstanding.
