Bottle thanks to Marcel. Appearance - deep brown to black. Nose - cinnamon and banana and caramel. . Taste - cinnamon, tonka and chocolate. Palate - medium to full bodied, creamy middle and light dryness on the finish. Overall - good.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of light spice, banana, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is more of the same. Boozy raisin finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee, some vanilla and some alcohol with some mild wooden tones. Flavour is chocolate, liquorice, some quite evident alcohol sweetness with coffee and some mild wooden tones. A bit sharp as for the flavour, aroma was smoother. Still a very thick oily palate.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is ripe fruits, soy sauce, alcohol and some chocolaty tones. Flavour is sweetish sour fruity and tartish tones with alcohol, some ripe fruits. Sweet aroma, but very tartish sour flavour.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some toffee, mild alcohol and some vanilla with a wee bit wood. Flavour is liquorice, vanilla and some alcohol with ripe fruity tones. A bit strange soy saucy tones too in the flavour.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Viscous pitch black, no head. Intense espresso aroma. Really sweet with full to massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrup and intense coffee. Warming finish. Very intense, albeit not very complex.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Coffee tartness meets cardamom up front. Very sweet with full body and sticky mouthfeel. Caramel, cinnamon and cardamom in syrup and coffee. Syrupy warming finish. Overflavoured and oversweet.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Pitch black, dark beige head. Peppery nose with caramel, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Sweet with full to massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Heavy on caramel. Burnt toast and licorice. Coffee and reasonably balanced amounts of vanilla. Intense roasted coffee with dark berries linger in a warming, quite bitter finish.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, dusty coffee, sweet malt, rich, balanced, dry, licorice.
