Bottle. A- Dank, overripe papaya, mildew, bat guano. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, dank, tropical fruits. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Guava comes across more as papaya in my opinion. Mild in terms of flavor as the dank bitterness wins out. Very okay at best.

12 ounce bottle from Brookings (SD) Liquor, 8/10/20. Black, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, vanilla, smoke, leather. Tate is roast, vanilla, cherry, coffee, leather. Thin-medium bodied. Pretty nice.

Draft/Fest. A- Coffee, roasty. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Coffee. P- Medium body, thin texture, flat carbonation, roasty finish. O- Better than the base beer but the coffee seems to take over the vanilla found in the base. Fairly roasty but also thin and flat on the palate. Almost like it's on nitro but that is not the case. Just too watery.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a very thin, barely a centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of very fruity notes with pure mangoes coming through with a lot of floral and grassy hops as well, but those coming from the fruits are much stronger. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong mango and pure fruity flavours up front with some lighter, and non-bittering hops with a dose of flowers and some dry notes with a dash of herbal and grassy funk towards the end that hits quite strong, especially at the finale. Aftertaste is still trying to battle past the bitterness and funk from the finish, with a little grainy and almost lager-y like biscuity malt notes, but the mangoes do cut through and make this quite nice. Overall, a good and enjoyable beer that shows less on the IPA spectrum and more on the fruit-beer side of things. I sampled this twelve ounce, stubby bottle, purchased earlier in the day from Hy-Vee in Lincoln, Nebraska on 10-October-2019 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in Lincoln, Nebraska on 10-October-2019.

Draft. A- Mild mango. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Mango, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Nice mango flavor. Not fake or too sweet. Balanced out the bitterness. Enjoyed this one.

Draft. A- White wine. A- Gold color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- White wine, strawberry. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Okay. Light flavors. Mostly a cheap white wine is imparted.

4 oz. draft. Flavor shows weak white grapes, yeast, and the weakest hint of strawberry. Dry texture. Not bad in anyway. Just extremely light characters. What is the Reinheitsgebot?!?

Draft. A- Roasty, cocoa, mild coffee, watery. A- Dark mahogany color, clear liquid, brown head. T- Watery, cocoa, coffee, roasty, mild molasses. P- Medium body, thin texture, flat carbonation, balanced finish. O- Felt like it was on nitro which I am not a fan. Beautiful body but really quite thin on the palate. Hard to believe it took me this long to try one of the oldest craft beers in Nebraska. Okay.

Rich deep brown coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of roasted hazlenuts, some light grain, a lot of caramel and some pure peanut notes throughout with a very mild alcohol scent near the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong nutty flavours go throughout with a lot of hazlenuts, a ton of peanuts and a good earthy, lightly sweet note with a mellow yeast and the hint of alcohol near the very end. Aftertaste shows some nutty flavours with only a touch of the nuts and earthy notes with more of the caramel sweetness and a hint of vanilla showing through the cracks. Overall, a decent beer that has a lot of nutty qualtiies with a lot of malt and earthy flavours without much else - perhaps an extra dose of sweetness noticeable at the end. Good to sample, but not worth going out to find, and for the season there are much better beers. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased a few hours ago at BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska for US$1,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska on 09-November-2018.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/22/2018. Pours lightly hazy dark reddish/purple/brown color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of juicy/lightly tart/tangy blueberries, blackberries, fruit skin, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, toasted biscuit, light roast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of berries, dark/bready/light roast malts, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy blueberries, blackberries, fruit skin, caramel, brown sugar, toffee. vanilla, toasted biscuit, light roast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy blueberries, blackberries, fruit skin, caramel, brown sugar, toffee. vanilla, toasted biscuit, light roast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, dark/bready/light roast malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance, with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from carbonation and lingering bitter/tartness. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is good. A bit too foamy carbonation. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is a very good dark fruit beer. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, dark/bready/light roast malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, despite the over carbonated/drying finish. Nice balance of jammy berries, nicely rich malts, and mild earthy hops against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Lower carbonation would have been better.
