Can, best before Dec 22, 2024, drunk 11/16/24. From Jow. Thanks! Clear, dark brown, hint of auburn in there. Small, beige head, quickly to spotty cover. Great peanut butter character in the nose. Rich, savory, authentic. Maybe a little less porter/beer than I'd prefer alongside it, but hard to not be charmed by the clean, aromatic peanut butter. In the mouth it's clean, very light, watery, slightly thin with a slightly sugary feel to it. Easy to fall in love with the peanut butter here, which is done commendably. But the beer is severely lacking. For 6%, this is watery, thin and has almost no dark malt character, not to mention much in the way of any real malt character. Clean, though.

Can (best by 11/22/23) pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Deeply hazy, dark brown with tons of sparkle, light head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong peanut butter and milk chocolate with roasted/sweet malt. Taste is strong peanut butter and milk chocolate, background roasted/sweet malt. Smooth, frothy, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Very nice aroma and flavor of peanut butter, and I get that it's low ABV (though can I have says 6%), but thinness of body doesn't match fullness of the rest.
