Description

Mexican tasting session with myself and no one else. Three bottles to be consumed and rated while it's quiet; 6th January 2023, all three bottles were obtained while in Ensenada in December 2022. The 355ml bottle of this is 7% not the stated 5.7% on here though. Second beer of the session, into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass, looks good; clean and clear golden/amber body, lovely smooth topped Snow White crown on top. Resinous piney nose with a citrus afterthought, taste is piney and hop bitter, almost harsh hop bitterness in fact, burns your throat (in a nice way). Must have changed the recipe since the other rates because this is a different beer to what they are writing about. Really enjoyed it.

Passion fruit and lots of green onion. Kind of an off taste to this. Hazy yellow pour with OK head. Hop tang finish. Green onion and wet grass kind of overtake most of the virtue from the hops. Can.
