My can has a different label. Its snowflakes on white with red cursive writing. I'll never get used to these holiday spiced brews, that's why it sat in my fridge for 6 months. I pick em up if their cheap just for a numerical tick towards 10K. Nose is nice but its a warning of the highly spiced brew within. Pour is somewhat murky and the color of rootbeer. First taste is as expected; a volatile mess of various holiday spices, blah, just like most other of these straight up ass domestic holiday brews. Rarely do I find one that's even slightly balanced or acceptable to my poor pissed off palate. In the middle its getting difficult to take. Almost flat and mouth coating, whew. Not one to waste any beer with a drain pour, I'll keep drinkin to the crappy end and at least hope I catch a little buzz of this spiced up bomb. Just maybe it will make this tick worth my while.

Total wine Cary. 3$ can. Pour is big and black, large and in charge with its creamy tan overflowing choco moose head, all over my counter. Nose is all black coffee. First big swig is highly carbonated burnt black coffee, no lie. There is also a hint of alky in there as a character of slight whisky. Whew, this is one coffee porter with a huge impact. I'm loven this carbonation sizzle in the coffee, this is the first time I've had a coffee beer with such cutting co2 and I like it! Yea baby. Whewie waftage wagtail wainscoting. Wakerif wallydrag wanchancy wamble. Yes, certainly unique. Probably one of the best coffee porters I've had. Its a little burnt bitter on the finish, but WTF? I like this stuff, none the less. Nice job sir walter raliegh.

$2 can pours a pale yellow with a gigantic foamy head. Nose is sweeter lager. Slight warming sensation on the first gulp. Taste is not as cloying as many helles I've done but yet there still is some well balanced controlled sweetness. Good level of fine carbonation in this. A little leather near the middle. Probably one of the more civilized hellis I've done in a while. Pr3etty good and almost as good as St Lois Summer, Noble Alex Fox, Vollbier Hell or Neuschwansteiner Das Echte - but not quite.

$2 single from Trader Joe's. Mojito glass @home. Dark maroon & murky pour; middling head. Dark carob roast, a little coffee, no spice on the initial nose. Toasty crust, burnt brown sugar, hazelnut, sharp & lingering vanilla, mellow; Diluted spices. Murky, low carb, stout-y texture, booze-y enough. Boring if decent winter warmer.

Can. Eye is clear pale with a thin white head. Fresh nose of typical pale lager. First taste is rather smooth and mellow. A little better than your numerous macro pale lagers in flavor. Rather friendly. Easy going. The middle yields a tad of that processed feel in there. Decent level of co2. No hoppy bitterness in this one. Quaffable, no problems here. I enjoyed this can.
