can. Sugar, vanilla, lacto, pineapple, aroma is like a solid layered cake with a little bit of citrus fruits in it. quite sweet, fairly complex with many pastry like notes. there are faint cheesy notes but they blend in with the sweetness to become more like vanilla cream. You might think along the lines of a very sweet cheese cake. flavor is a bit troubeling, sort of bitter, strange perhaps mouldy fruit peely bitterness, also quite sweet. cheesy notes, bitter pineapple. a bit cloying.

pours dark brown with a not very long lasting light brown head. aroma of dark caramel dark chocolate candy, A bit one dimensional. very dark caramel bitter not so much malty or coffee bitter. Flavor has a very good well rounded but stingy chili bite - enough to get your attention and this bite makes the bitter caramel and dark chocolate work super well suddenly, the rest of the beer matches the chili exceptionally well. a pretty hot chili stout with enough complexity to not just be hot, and also quite well balanced in the flavor. I happen to like hot chilies, this is one of the better stouts with chili i've had.

pours unclear sort of reddish, fast dissapearing head. aroma is undefined red berries including strawberries, vanilla and some milky notes like perhaps strawberry cake. Flavor is citrussy and wild yeasty, faint note and texture almost like dough, slightly herbal, but mostly wild yeast beer and berries, with the addition of vanilla and pastry. Fair tasting beer and the wild beer part does show itself, making the beer reasonably interesting. I was very dissapointed with the first small pour, but that was because the beer had settled in layers in the can, so the top that came out was a disaster, this rating is from having emptied the rest of the can into the glass and blended things up.

can hazy red, no lasting head. strong aroma strong red berries and sour beer, alc and malts. a lot cleaner and fruitier than many, also still with clear notes of tart and sour beer. great aroma. and strong... smelled it even before I got close to the glass. flavor is strong tart red berries and good citrussy sour and tart beer. Good balance between fruit and beer, easy drinking, sour enough to not be cloying.

can very strong exotic fruity and flowery aroma.so sweet it makes me think banana and honey, although none of those are present. flavor is a lot lot more sourish and tart, citrussy or citrus fruity, probably the guava dominating. a very tart and sour beer. Flavor could be more interesting but it has no obvious flaws that I can detect and as such is of higher quality than many.

Pour is a bright gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is lemons and white grapes. Not much malt. Flavor is more lemons with a dry chalky malt. Finish is a little bitter and clean. Decent but a little light around the edges.

From City Brew Tours, canned August 25th 2023.
It pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a finger of foam and is good with the lacing.
The smell is toasted and bready malt, has a mild nutty aroma, hints of hops.
The taste is toasty, bready, with some Hallertau hops peeking through, mostly in the finish.
Good mouthfeel, good Festbier.
