Description
Southern Grist Brewing Company is a neighborhood brewery operating taprooms in East Nashville and the Nations.

We opened our doors in February 2016 and have been making out-of-the-box flavors and styles of craft beer ever since. We focus on creating unique beers with the utmost quality and we look forward to welcoming you into our taprooms!

Draught at e Nashville: pours opaque yellow with white head. Aroma is loads of citrus and some tropical notes. Somewhat sweet. Light bitterness. Solid.

Draught in E Nashville: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthiness. Taste is dry and sort of bitter. Coffee version is better but the vive of this one is nice too.

Draught at E Nashville: pours blackish with beige head. Aroma is loads of coffee and some hints of chocolate. Taste is coffee and coffee aftertaste. Light bitterness and some sweetness.

At E Nashville taproom: pours weirdly hazy. Aroma is tropical, melon, citrus. Hard to see where the WC is coming in. Still a solid beer.

At E Nashville taproom: pours pale opaque haze with small head. Marshmallow, smores; tropical fruitiness. Taste is lots of marshmallow and plenty sweetness. Did not realize this was a marshmallow IPA. I am upset.

Poured a very hazy mango orange color with a small white head. Aroma was big tropical fruits - mango, pineapple, guava. Flavor was juiced guava, pineapple. At a DCBeer share.

t: clean fruits | soured | big passionfruit
p: thin body | a touch of sugars | drying
o: very nice | fruit juicy | great for style! (best of N/As so far - this one makes me desire a 'real' sour with alcohol!)
