Lots of black tea, tannic. It's a beverage, you can drink it. Not sure why you'd want tea in your mead, but it does no harm.

Light mead, clover honey, and a hint of lime. I mean, if you want to drink it, you can.

Bottle sample at mead booth, pours a clear pale blond. Aroma is full of pungent smoky whiskey barrels, hot floral notes, and subdued honey. Flavour is really hot and boozy, with intense booze, smoky whiskey barrels, and floral notes. Messy and harsh, but there’s a bit of depth. Finishes dry, smoky and very hot. Haphazard.

Can sample at mead booth, pours a cloudy blonde. Nose is full of bergamot and cheap watered down honey. Flavour is more of the same, with bergamot, fermented out honey, and finishing dry and tea-like. It’s fine.

Can sample at mead booth, pours a cloudy murky blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of mint and lime, with subdued honey. Flavour is cheap, with somewhat artificial ginger and lemon, and a bunch of sweetness. Not much of interest.

Can pour at a market booth. Pours hazy dull pale yellow. Gentle honey on the nose. Flavour has fairly honey and some teabags. Fairly uninteresting.

Bottle sample at a market booth. Pours clear blonde. Grainy thin honey and some whiskey on the nose. Flavour has boozy honey and dirty whiskey barrels. Pretty harsh, but an interesting thing to try.
