On tap at Doble Malta, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of cinnamon, sugars, and toasted malt. Flavour is quite sweet, with plenty of sugars, cinnamon, and gentle roast. Too much sugars and cinnamon for me, but there’s decent base malts. Not the greatest adjunct treatment here for me but it’s reasonably constructed.

On tap at Doble Malta. Pours black with a tan head. Cinnamon, molasses, and milk sugars on the nose. Flavour has loads of cinnamon, a touch of roast, molasses, some milk sugars. It's okay, but the cinnamon and lactose are more of a detriment I think.

355mL bottle, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma has medium roast, some earthy coffee, and light sugars. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of fruitiness coming from the coffee, I assume, moderate roast, and some earthy roast. Medium roast, earthy and fruity coffee finish. Not the most complex impie coffee stout but it’s reasonably done.

355mL bottle, pours jet black with a small dark brown head. Aroma has plenty of cocoa, some spicy peppers, cinnamon, and a touch of roasted malt. Flavour has some nice malt depth, which paves the way for the chilis, cinnamon, and cocoa that are harmoniously blended. Very nice spiced Mexican hot chocolate stout—actually has good malt depth for a change.

On tap at Morenos, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has rich cocoa, a hint of spice, dark sugars, and oats. Flavour is fairly sweet, with plenty of sugars (lactose?), cocoa, some subtle spiced notes of some sort, and oats. Rich, sweet, oaty, with a good malt base. Surprisingly good.

On tap at Morenos. Pours black with a tan head. Dark chocolate, gentle spicing, and toasted malts on the nose. Flavour has plenty of spices and dark chocolate; a very nice burnt caramel character as well. Erring on the sweet/syrupy side. Very nice.

Jet black with a stable beige colored foamy head. Intense rubbery and leathery notes, ashes, toffee, burnt malt, dried dates, raisins, booze, chocolate, vanilla, grapefruit zest. Intense hoppy roasty zesty bitterness. Full bodied, oily slick texture, lively carbonated, hoppy zesty roasty boozy bitter finish. What a great Porter, apparently, this is the #1 Porter 2025 on Untapped, I can see why, a great beer!

Poured from 355mL bottle. Black with small tan head. Nice cacao and burnt caramel, touch of marshmallow, perhaps a bit too burnt, but enjoyable.
