Bottle from Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours golden amber with a large frothy head. Great lacing. Amazing aromas of grapefruit, pine, passionfruit. Taste is heavy pine, ruby red grapefruit. This beer isn’t shy about hiding it’s alcohol, but it doesn’t need to be. This is awesome.

Keg at the brewpub. Clear copper, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, caramel. The taste is tropical fruits, mango, lime, grapefruit, pale malt, caramel. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

On tap at the brewery 9/1/15, the day of it’s release. Pours a lovely amber. Luscious aroma of floral hops, a bit of pine and citrus. Taste is a lovely bittersweet mixture of pine, floral hops, soap, and hints of malt. The bartender told me this was their answer to Lagunitas’ A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale. I’ve got to say they did a damn good job.
