A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel combined with light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with lots of caramel, I find it a bit too sweet and yet it has a thin body.

A dark yellow beer with a bubbly collapsing white head. The aroma is very complex with notes of yeast, dust, grapefruit, and more, that I can’t put a name to. The flavor is sweet and quity citrusy, combined with light notes of yeast and a dusty hoppy note.

Cloudy blond color. Some banana aroma, light. Pretty dry taste, some malt, quite spicy. Enjoyable.

Cloudy dark amber color, huge thick head. Quite fruity aroma (banana), malty. Malty flavor, quite sweet, a bit spicy. Quite good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Jesus, the head on some of these wheat beers is simply out of cobtrol! It keeps rising out of the bottle even after you’ve emptied half of it. Clear, pilsener golden wit a - surprise - tall, frothy head. Some wheaty esters in the nose, but not overly fruity. Less sulphurous than most Kristalls and hence more pleasant. 111102

Blond color. Pretty strong aroma, some corn. Some malt flavor and residual sweetness, more round mothfeel than the average. Ordinary final.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Zwiefalter Kloster Weizen Hefetrüb". Hazy golden with a typical tall, rich and collapsing head. Very fruity and fresh with a soft dryness and almost no bitterness. Good quality Hefe. 291002

(Bottle 50 cl) Neatly pilsener golden with a nice but quickly collapsing head. As is typical for Zwiefalter this is very soft and pleasant without much bitterness - the malty sweetnes is in control. 130602
