330 ml. bottle. 18/08/15 (BBF?). Bottle says “Fuck the grain, live the hops” (okay, not really my style, not a hop-head). Rather hazy paler golden, solid egg-white head. Nose is nice peach & exotic fruit hops, quite a bit of litchi nice and fruity, there is some yeast presence but it is low and doesn’t distract from the nice aromatic hop quality. Taste is mellow sweetish not very outspoken, mellow sweetish peach hops mixed with some sweeter flowers, some citrus flavored aspirin, tad yeasty with some bread, finish is light grass & twig bitterness. Hop presence is very low, the base is okay but not very exciting as is typical with this kind of beers. Body is faintly lemonade-like (but not overly sparkling) with clear yeast presence. In taste the hop seems to have slightly turned from the fruity to the touch more bitter but very low levels. It is okay but the hops are clearly too low but that might be due to the age so I will give it the benefit of the doubt. As it is now, it drinks okay, it is just not very exciting.
