Bottle. Nice nose, lemon, grapefruit, biscuits. Very dry and bitter flaovr, grapefruit, lemon, biscuity malt. Some diacetyl comes out as it warms which is a shame.

Jet black. Very thick, and creamy texture. Loads of dark, roasted malts in aroma and flavour. Intense bittersweetness. Some cocoa and liquourice.

Sampled draft @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2015. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is big resin with sweet white bread & some orange. Taste is very bitter orange, creamy, bitter dry orange peel, sweet white bread, apricot,… Creamy yeasty body,… Yeast dominates too much for me & not enough hop but decent still. (Thanks for sharing!)

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an unclear amber with lots of impurities and an off-white head. Grease hop aroma combined with a chemical note. Rich, malty, fruity, caramellish body - that chemical off-note just keeps growing, a fermentation error? Lots of hops in there for sure, they just aren’t crisp at all. 250615

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pretty, clear ruby red with a light brown head. Dusty, herbal licorice aroma, a little greasy hoppiness. Medium body, medicinal licorice feel, cough syrup, some hops alright but they are not particularly aromatic. Bitterish finish. Decent, and clearly a Black IPA. 240615

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours black with frothy tan had. Aroma is herbal hops and roasted malts. Taste is herbal & chocolatey with a slick texture. Not too into the herbal side, but it’s still a fairly decent BIPA.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased @ Malt Attacks. Lot: 5/03/2016. Clear orange, creamy small white. Nose is sweetish yoghurt, peach yoghurt, faint apricot, sweetish, rather sweetish & yeast heavy but not unpleasant. Taste is yoghurt yeast, peach & light apricot yoghurt, light bread, touch sugar, bread, faint fruits,… Little in the way of hops. Yeasty & yoghurt body. Overly yeast, yoghurt-like & lacking in hop character for an American IPA (as written on the label), possibly age is at play here? BBF date is still a long time away. Okay tasting still. Expected more from these guys.

Anaranjada, un dedo de espuma. Fuerte aroma frutal. Rica textura, suave y cremosa. Muy seca en boca. Y muy muy lupulada, con fuerte explosión amarga y frutal, predominando naranja. Pero también algo de dulce. Poco pero está. Final muy seco. Bastante bestia. Buena american IPA.
