BOTTLE 33CL.
A bizarre mix of aromatic herbs, pickles? and sweet citrus. Little roasted malts, quite a hefty but still drinkable body. The finish is bitter with spicy herbal notes. Eccentric, but nice.

BOTTLE 33CL. Lots of rough roast in the aroma with notes of burnt plastic and some alcohol. The taste is relatively sweet, chocolate liquor, bitter with hints of alcohol. OK, but you expect more from a big Impy. Still good.

Hotel tasting with Colin Theydon Bois. Lightly hazy amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light with decent fine carbonation. Sweetish malts and sweet floralness. Touch of spicy pine hops and mild fresh orange and tropical fruits. Airy finish. Reasonable DIPA.

Hotel tasting with Colin Theydon Bois. Almost opaque dark brown beer, fluffy pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, quite light and a little tangy. Turns a little sweeter. Touch of dark fruits. Hops are the expected bitterish pine. Airy dry finish. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, deep golden colour average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense, citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, some passion fruit, some pine, caramel malty background, a minimally soapy touch as well. Taste is citrusy hoppy, moderately bitter, minimally tart, pineapple notes, some passion fruit, tropical fruit in general; slightly light body. Really nice, sessionable IPA.
