Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, fruits, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a medium bitter finish. Smooth and well-balanced. A really nice Black IPA.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, lots of red wine, soy sauce, lots of alcohol, some bourbon notes, roasted pecans, maple syrup. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very oxidized, some soy sauce, bitter touch, pretty dry, gentle roast, some alcohol. Aftertaste: roasted, a bit sweet, some caramel, chocolate notes, oxidized, some cardboard even.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo, resina, pino, prugna, ananas e the verde.

Bottle at home. Aroma is pure coffee beans, malt, spicy notes, roast, touch of cinnamon. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet. Body is light to medium. Unfortunately, the flavour and body can’t keep up with the powerful coffee bean aroma, it feels a bit on the thin side.

Bottle at home. Aroma is spicy yeast, brett funk, wheat, fruity, citrus, boiled vegetables, perfumed notes, bit herbal. Flavour is lightly sourish with a touch of malty sweetness and a light bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. A bit messy with one or two off-flavours, I can see why some would say this is awful. However, I find it strangely interesting and drinkable.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is grainy malts, light bready, hay, with some yeasty notes. Flavour is light sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. Good Keller specimen from Pirata, very enjoyable.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is intense fresh fruity hops, juicy tropical fruits, melon, citrus, mango, grapefruit, touch of pineapple and peach, with some soft biscuity malt. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Well, this is surprising, what a lovely juicy IPA! The way I like my IPA, tons upon tons of fruits.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is fruity hops, biscuity malt, grapefruit, orange, touch of pine with a slight touch of herbal tea. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Very easily drinkable and hoppy India style Lager, tasty!
