30/XII/25 - 44cl bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: II/2026, L20250217 (2025-1494)

Cloudy deep yellow to light ochre beer, small creamy dense off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of orange peel, some orange juice, a bit of a chemical impression, some tropical fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty bitter, a bit chemical, hop burn, some alcohol, fruity notes, more chemical impression, hoppy, some sweet malts. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, piny, resinous, orange peel, floral,a bit soapy, ok but not great.

In a blind tasting I would call this is a Hazy west coast. Not bad at all

A touch cloudy orange with a white head. Citrus, lightly sweet malts, a bit of rye spice, pine. Finish is more pine. Medium bodied. Nothing exceptional but a very solid rendition.

Can from Beer in a Box. Citrusy and grassy hop with notes of lime and soft pale malt. Flavour is too bitter for its own good. Medium body. Lacks some refinement overall.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, dark golden to amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, banana bread, a touch of clove and mustard seed, some honey. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, slightly fruity hoppy, notes of banana, a touch of clove, mustard seed, orange, tart-ish orange, some honey.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.
Kind of Kristallweizen-Bock, a bit restrained - OK.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, malts, ashy, burnt malts, peat, band aid, iodine. Heavy. Not bad though, just not exactly my thing. 8-6-6-8-7

Superficial sample from Billie’s craft beer fest 2025. Hazy golden under a big white head. Quite straight forward tropical NEIPA with some bitterness. Refreshing.
