Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A black beer with a mid sized most good lasting tan head. Aroma of mild roasted malt, coffee, cookies. Taste of mild roasted dark malt, liquorice, coffee.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, bit adhesive, pretty stable. Aroma: pretty roasted, bit malty, charcoal. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: surprisingly sourish, bitter, soft roast, very bitter, more roasted notes. Aftertaste: bitter, charcoal, bit sourish, some dried fruits, chocolate, very drinkable, compared to a lot of the other De Molen beers, after reading it's 6% I understand it. Very pleasant for such a lower abv stout!

Tap at Borefts, 2018. Poured a slightly hazy, opaque, light yellow colour. The aroma is yeast, lemon lime citrus. The flavour is moderate sour with a light, crisp, fresh, yeasty, mineral, citrus fruit, palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tap at Borefts 2018. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is toffee caramel roasty malt, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sour, with a smooth, roasty, tart citrus fruit, light smoky malt palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Almost black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and some mango. Slightly sweet, malty, a bit sourish, quite roasty and a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, red berries, coffee and some mango, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, woody-tart finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Clear, pale golden with a white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently fruity aroma of lemon, rhubarb and some gooseberry. Minimally sweet, gently sour, rather fruity taste of lemon, rhubarb and some gooseberry, followed by a short, rather tart and dry finish. Thin body, quite astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of banana and clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy taste of banana, clove, some vanilla and traces of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
