Sampled from the Firkin at Happy Gnome Firkin Fest 2015. Pours a pale yellow with a slight green hue and no head whatsoever. Aroma has decent amount of juniper with a slight bitter apple note and a dryness. Flavor combines apple and juniper with a bitter outcome and a hint of flora.

On tap in the taproom. Pours a clear pale yellow with visible carbonation but no head. Aroma has lots of dry apple and acid with a bit of hibiscus underlying. Flavor has same apple note with some hibiscus and a touch of acid.

On tap at the cidery. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has notes of crisp apples, Belgian yeast and a hint of earthiness. Flavor has crisp apple as well with some Belgian yeast and a touch of light grain.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains with some grass and sweet/tart apple underlying. Flavor is an odd combination of earthy dark grains and sweet apple with a bit of grass backing.

Aroma has notes of earthy dark grains and dark bread with a decent amount of sweet apple. Flavor combines earthy dark grains and slightly tart apple with a decent amount of sweet apple.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a combination of musty apple and earthy grass with a hint of leaves. Flavor is mainly earthy apple with a decent amount of sweetness and an earthy grass undertone.
