Pint draft at the brewpub - Dark brown color with a thin head, aroma of malt and especially bananas. The flavor is also quite malty and has strong banana notes. Wait... notes isn’t the right word. I started to wonder if they’d mashed up bananas to make this beer. The body is fairly moderate and the finish leaves you with, you guessed it, bananas! I’m not quite sure what to think. It’s not that it’s bad. I didn’t mind downing my pint. But holy freakin’ bananas, Batman!

draft - Pours dark brown to black with an average, long lasting head. The aroma of roast malts was fairly light. They came through much stronger in the flavor, but had a pretty good hops balance. Overall this is a pretty good effort.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

draft - Light brownish in color, this beer pours with minimal head and an aroma of caramel malt. The flavor is also quite malty with mild hops. The balance seems slightly off, but it still tastes pretty good. The body is thin to moderate and the finish is clean. This one’s alright for sessions.

4.2
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4

draft - The aroma is virtually nonexistent. I think I smelled a trace of malt. The flavor is malty and very light. The mouthfeel is thin and the finish is clean. That’s about all I can say for it. This is not an impressive American Wheat.

draft - Dark amber color, almost no head, some lacing. The malty aroma is very light. The body is kind of thin and too bubbly. This mouthfeel seemed to be a common problem as I worked my way down the brewery sampler board. The beer description said "well hopped", which is in my opinion wrong. The hops are actually pretty light. It’s an okay beer but could be a lot better.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6

draft - Clear amber color with a thin head and a light, hoppy aroma. It feels a bit too fizzy on the palate, but has a decent hops presence. This brew is a straightforward pale ale, average or a bit below for the style.

draft - Blech. Seriously, this one is crap. Don’t bother with it. It’s yet another fizzy, yellow, watery, mostly tasteless beer. In my opinion it’s even worse than the Bud it’s imitating. Sad.
