Got a can from my buddyβs garage fridge, he took the plunge and picked up 48 of these bad boys. Itβs pretty tame and really doesnβt have any major flaws (other than the lack of real flavor). On the sweeter side of things, no bitters whatsoever, and some corn syrup. Mild aroma of the sweet maltiness. For what Kirkland is going for they nailed it.

From notes:
Poured from a bottle it is an effervescent amber beer with a slight head the aroma is not distinguishable except to say it smells like beer and has no real distinct flavor either

Stale grassy hop aroma. Crystal clear amber, thick yellow head. Whole overripe orange, low bitterness, some astringency. Tangy tea finish. No problem with intensity, just stale and boring. Entry level.

Tea, cooked vegetables, and cereal grain nose, sawdust also present with perhaps some honey. Clear deep amber, thick head. Mild dried leaves, a little cardboard, stale malt. Not much in the way of hops. Meh.

Unmalted barley, corn aroma. Hazy amber, big head. Honey flavor, tart lemon overtones. Mild husk bitterness in the finish. Not a great deal of hop presence and mild to be sure, but not without flavor.

Tea and chesnut nose. Tea colored, medium tan head. Mild nuttiness, barley. Fairly clean despite this being an old bottle. Not bad.
