Can into Lost Abbey stemware. First NA tick in a long while. Pours with a clear, somewhat surprisingly deep yellow to golden hued body with a equally surprising, decent white head that even leaves a bit of lace. Maybe it isn’t as adjunct laden as some others. Aromas appear to back it up as all malt, bready, grainy, mild DMS, some sugary melon notes, bready. Light yeast esters that are odd for a lager, no sulfur though. No hops to speak of on the nose. Not horrible on the flavors, but not good: bready, malty, saw dust, uric acid, DMS and quite a bit of husky tannin. Saw dust. Thin and watery with a carbonic bite. Mild cardboard. Honestly, not nearly as bad as expected. Seems to be all malt (granted cheap, husky 6 row). No hop flavors detected. Light salinity. Watery and husky overall.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large foamy orange white head that lingers and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweetish with touches of butterscotch, nut and sulfur. The flavor was tangy and somewhat bitter with faint caramel and a touch of fruit. Medium length bitter and tangy finish. Light body. Eh.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours clear pale yellow white small white head that dissapates quickly. Medium carbonation, a little lacing, and medium/light body. Taste is metallic corn, grass, and a hint of sour hops in the finish. Not horrible, but not good.

12 ounce can shared by Butters at Butters Slutfest 2.0, Richmond, VA, 4.23.11. Pours clear... almost colorless. Medium sized creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Faint aroma of creamed grain. Does that make any sense? The taste is sweet and grainy. Thin bodied. Not good, but not offensive.

Got this from nike, THANKS! A very rare beer from Iron City, at least is now. Perhaps this will make up for missing hop & gator, piss me off. From a twist off clear bottle. Drank right out of the bottle, YEAH! Small mango aroma at first. Certainly pale lager in origin on the tongue. I do like IC light. Has an unsweetened soda characteristic about it. Becomes fun and interesting, more so than most fruit beers. I also really appreciate the 4% alky on this one. Could be a session beer, I need to try more than one, six pack arriving soon I hope. Started off a little like most fruit beers but grew on me as the session continued. Brian, use this for trade bait! heheh. There are only two ratings!

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a vibrant yellow color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded quickly. The aroma was tang, sweetish and very corny with a bit of artificial grape undertone. The flavor was tangy, sweet and corny with notes of artificial grape and bubblegum. The finish was long, sour and tangy. Bland.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with little head, little lacing, low carbonation, and very little aroma. Taste is light malt mostly corn and finishes with a hint of hops. Taste is not bad, it could be a good session beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear, apple juice-gold with a bare, white head. Ligt malt, corn and apple aroma. Swee flavor with faint dough and some light fruits. Light to medium in body with fizzy carbonation. Crisp and sharp in the finish, with some lingering apple notes. Light dryness. Not bad.

Can. Pours a clear, light yellow with a fizzy white head. Light malt aroma with some corn and sugar. Mild flavor with some sweet grains and very little bitterness. Light in body with average carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean with short-lived sweetness. Not bad!

Bottle. Clear, amber body with thin white head that rapidly diminishes. Notes of caramel, toasted grain, grass and nuts in the aroma along with hints of corn, canned vegetables and sulphur. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Light to medium body, thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Just short of drainpour, the vegetable notes in the aroma and taste, though slight, were enough to overshadow some of the better qualities β€” like the caramel and toast in the aroma.
