Brewed under license by the Phu Yen Beverage Company in Vietnam. Skillfully hunted in Nha Trang. Lovely pale straw colour with no head. When I poured it, it smelled like apple juice but that blew off to reveal grains, maybe some sourness, and mustiness of a non-happy, non-lambic type. Taste of mineral water mixed with post-teethbrushing apple juice. Finishes sticky and with paint-like, gluey notes. Yum.

16 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours an amber color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Taste is grassy and light toasted malts but is otherwise devoid of flavor. Weak grainy slightly toasty aroma. Thin bodied. Generic beer. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Tin. Poured Pale yellow with thin fast dissipating white head. No lacing. Sour weak aroma, Flat malt flavour, no hop. Weak cardboardy finish. Not a premium lager by any means. Cheap, but not good cheap.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was sweet, tangy and corny. The flavor was dry, tart, bitter and a bit corn. The finish was dry with a hint of cardboard. Decent for a light beer.

From a can. Looks like a pale lager. Smells like any other cheap pale lager. Has a slight tomato paste background on the palate. Weird, but is not as bad as some cheap lagers I’ve tasted. A little difficult near the end of the can. Reminds me quite a bit of coors N/A.

Bottle on 09/27/2008. Very clear pale yellow body with a small frothy white head. Corn and grain aroma. More corn in the flavor with some honey hints and a grainy finish. Very light body with rather high carbonation.

Excessively pale. Smell takes me back to China - this beer is so watery and grainy it could be Chinese. Tastes the same. Too weak to complement uncooked ramen. Assy.
