Yes! This gorgeous beverage poured a golden-yellow color reminiscent of the evening sun dabbling light on the rippled sands of Lake Michigan’s dune country. The whitish head, you ask? The frothing, biting advance of the whitecaps onto the sandy shore. The malty, corny and sweetish aroma and flavor? Why, haven’t I convinced you already? Just make sure you tread the dunes as softly and smoothly as this beer treads my palate. And may the dune grass kiss your feet as the hops embrace your tastebuds.

This has "CHEAP BEER" written all over it... and I should have known by the price! I guess it's "You get what you pay for." This beer is watery yellow, smells cheap, tastes cheaper, feels cruddy going down, and makes you hand these out when someone comes to visit (either that our pour it into a glass and tell them it's something else). Not gonna retry this one!

Dark brown colour with a medium-sized light brown head. Slightly fruity (raisins, plums and peaches) aroma with malt and caramel also noticeable. Light-bodied; Watery mouthful with some malt and caramel present. Aftertaste very mild, with only some malt showing. Overall, not good-just as expected! I got this twelve ounce bottle at Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York, but reccomend you don't do the same!

Copper coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of grapes, malt and a slight hoppiness. Medium to Light-bodied; Strong mettalic twang with a large malt presence and a small fruityness (grapes and raisins). Aftertaste bittered from the toasted malt and the metal. Overall, not very pleasant, but I knew that going into it! I bought this twelve ounce bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York and sampled it on 06-December-2003.

On tap at the Sportsman's Grille in Nashville. Pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Light malt aroma. Medium bodied with a kind of bland malt flavor, along with a little caramel. Finish is short and sweet. Not too great but a nice find.

Tea-colored with a decent head. This beer managed to be malty-sweet and sour at the same time, which I didn't really like.

Pretty bland, and light. Pale. More beerlike than most American Standard types, but not really better than most of them. I didn't bother to finish it either - a couple of sips told me all I needed to know, and not being at all enjoyable, I just poured itout. Strange factoid: While in Philadelphia I never saw this beer, but it is available in several places in Wichita, KS. Weird.

Light lager. Touch of biscuity malt, but it's hard to find if you're gulping a frozen mug of the stuff. Too much acidity in the finish (reminds me of some Chinese lagers). I respect the history of these old breweries, but sometimes the beer just doesn't live up.
