24/12/2020. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear golden bronze with minimal head. Aroma of sour cherry, vanilla and marzipan. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, medium tartness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Nice, enjoyed it.

Can: Poured a reddish orange with a off white head. Aroma is tart cherries, light metallic. Taste is tart cherry, pits, light pennies metallic but didn't detract from flavor, carbonated bubbles.

Sample during the Alaska Beer: Glacial Awareness event on 06/20/2020. Brown-black pour with a medium thick foamy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and anise. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, dark chocolate, black licorice and a bit of fruit. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can thanks to Keith: Poured a unclear orange with a white head. Aroma is sour apple fruit. Taste is tart apple somewhat crab apple, sour throughout with some grain and cereal.

Bottle from the brewery. Deep malt character, dark fruits, fig, bready. Good level of layers. No alcohol noted any place.

750 mL bottle poured at Matt's. Thanks! Cool bottle. Dark pour, near black. Has an oat like sweetness. Milk chocolate. Not too thick. Toasty aroma. On the sweet side for sure. A less than imperial feel to this. Flavorful. Chocolate. Oak. Vanilla. Oats. Interesting beer here.

Pours a dark amber color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of caramel, oak and wine. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, vinous oak, figs and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a charred malt and fruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
