Description
Like many of the great stories of American entrepreneurs, our story begins in a garage! The first batch of beer was made in the spring of 2003. It wasn't great, but we drank it and it sparked a passion that eventually morphed into The B.R.I.
More than anything else, The B.R.I. is a gathering place for Craft Beer drinkers in and around Mesa, Arizona. It's Independent and Local. It's the third place, not home or work, but the place you want to be with your family, your friends and a pint of your favorite beer!
The Brew pub hold's a special place in our heart. It's the town hall. It's church to some. It's where the revolution began! For hundreds of years, people have went to their local taverns, pubs or breweries and now our brewery and restaurant is part of that Craft Beer history in Mesa.

Hazy, thin head. There’s some berry and some pine on the nose. Soft body, but still quite yeasty. Ok, not bad. Not really going anywhere, but decent beer.

The colour is a neat purple-brown, with a thin head, and some haze. Mellow blackberry aroma. Ok, touch of yeast, too. Yeasty, lots of blackberry, medium hoppiness, with abundant pine. Good beer. The elements don’t really come together but all the elements are quite good, so I’m happy.

Light amber. Tart, like sharp, and there’s a lot of bitterness to this. The hops are fruity, maybe some berries, and the tartness is just a little bit funky but mostly clean lactic. OK.

Bright brassy colour. Thin head. The aroma is actually kind of mellow. The taste is balanced – lots of piney, slightly citrusy hop and a whack of pale malt. There’s a touch of alcohol but that’s about it. As TIPA goes, this is nicely balanced, and pretty solid.

Pinkish and hazy, with a thin head. Light prickly pear fruit nose, bit of a dirty lactic character, maybe a prickly pear accent but not abundant or bright. So it smells nice but otherwise a dirty saison.

Bright, golde, with a thin head. On the nose, quite a bit of catty citra (no citra was involved in the making of this beer). Lots of bitterness, some biscuity malts, no brut character but a nice IPA with bright hops, clear malts and a relatively dry finish.

Very dark brown. Thin head. On the nose, a fair bit of a coffee and a little bit of chocolate. Soft body, nice chocolate note. Good balance – on the sweet side as per the style, but a little bit of that Viet coffee thing.

Dark gold, with a thin head. On the nose, some earthy hop notes. On the palate, moderate bitterness, some c hop, bitter, herbal finish. There’s a touch of sweet pale malts to provide balance. Definitely a standard IPA, but good.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky dull pink sort of body that supports a bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up melon, grapefruit, a bit of cracker like oat and an earthy berry sensation. The taste delivers some nice grapefruit like hop bitterness and then thin sweet soft cantaloupe. Behind the hops are mildly tangy berry and melon notes. This is nimble and crushable. I can do more of this.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a nice murky opaque dull gold body that supports a nice looking near bright white head of foam. The soft aroma offers up a bit of oat flowing into thin notes of mango and cantaloupe. The taste delivers tangy papaya and guava as well as softer notes of cantaloupe and mango. Nice stuff. This comes together nicely with more tanginess than expected.
