Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a crystal clear gold body that supports a nice off white head of foam. The aroma offers up berry and plum smarties candy and faint maltiness. The taste delivers floral and slightly spicy hops swamped by malts and thin candy like esters (berry and guava, wat?). It does end with a pleasing malty cracker like sensation that helps out the experience some.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mainly cup of coffee notes backed up by faint (or even imagined) citrus hops. The taste delivers a pleasing load of roasty slightly oily rich coffee that bleeds into bitter spicy to grapefruit like hoppiness and then a sliver of citrus hop juicy flavor. Nice. As it warms the coffee influence out grows the hoppiness a bit. Solid brew.

The aroma offers up citrus, a bit of pine hops and then a mild sense of tropical fruitiness. The taste delivers a moderate level of spicy hops, a spicy rye sort of twang, bitter grapefruit and then a thin river of sweet citrus hop flavor. This is hitting the spot. Crushable.

The aroma offers up some thin malty oat, grapefruit blended with cantaloupe and mango and then a bit of booze and nectarine. The taste delivers bitter and mildly boozy bitter grapefruit, cantaloupe and pineapple. Yeah. A little muddled but it creates a nice balance of bitterness, booze and soft juiciness. Yep. Nice stuff.

The aroma offers up mostly raspberry followed by thin layers of chocolate and dark roasted malts. Nice. The taste delivers loads of rich deep flavor with raspberry mixed with chocolate and dark roasted malts. Wow! It tries to become too sweet but it doesn't, somehow. Dessert beer. Tastes like a raspberry chocolate cake. Cool brew.

The aroma offers up pear like esters, spicy Belgian yeast and faint vague fruity hoppiness. The taste delivers smooth malt and mild juicy hop sweetened spicy Belgian like yeastiness. It picks up pear and faint tropical fruity hoppiness to midway amidst a modest level of spicy yeast. Easy drinking. Nice.

The aroma offers up mild spicy onion like hops and then some Belgian yeasty spiciness. The taste delivers a tasty blend of Belgian yeasty spices and spicy hops, some grapefruit and then mild earthy bitter grassiness. Solid. It achieves a tasty balance and stays nimble and somewhat dry.

The taste delivers thin crystal malt fruity ester sweetness as well as floral hop bitterness and a blunted pine and grassy bitterness. Not sure I've had Simcoe like this before.

The aroma offers up a blend of cantaloupe, pineapple and pink grapefruit. The taste delivers a pleasing pineapple, mango and strawberry near juicy fruitiness cut nicely by grapefruit like hop bitterness and a dry snappy body. It grows into a little bit of resiny hop bitterness toward the finish as well as thin sense of booze. Solid crushable IPA.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers a bit of spicy hops and some cracker like malts blended into faint citrus. The taste delivers spicy bitter hops with a hodge podge of mostly thin citrus hop candy flavor. The maltiness hits right up front with pleasing layers of light "pale" malts and some cracker malty goodness. This is bitter hop forward with a tasty Pale maltiness to balance. Interest Simcoe brew as it doesn't seem to provide much in the way of classic Simcoe hop flavors.
