On tap at Angel's Trumpet House, pours a red-tinged dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light earthy coffee and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with a nice coffee character, medium roasted malt, and a hint of caramel. Robust for the style, with a nice coffee character. Good stuff, but world class for the style?

16 oz. can from Total Wine, Scottsdale, AZ. Poured in a paper cup. Clear gold color with a large white head and very good retention. Soft pilsner malt aroma. Likewise, tastes more like a pale lager and light pilsner mixed together, not a blonde ale. Not bitter. Initially crisp, followed by a soft, over-carbonated foamy mouthfeel. A decent but forgettable beer.

16 oz can purchased as a single at the Trader Joe’s in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pour is slightly cloudy golden orange with a small off white head. The aroma is tangerine, citrus and a bit of cereal malt underneath. The taste is bright fresh tangerine, soft tang moves towards soft bitter finish. Solid.

Bottle, thank you Dak! First a little rant about using c&c for a stout. It aint the 0's anymore people. CBS is sold in four packs. You can slap a cap on this bad boy. That said, on to the product. Pours inky black, late forming creamy almost black head, nice residual. Aroma is rich and desert like, lava cake, vanilla, bourbon, chocolate martini. Flavor is quite sweet, fairly bitter, hot, creamy. Full body. Sipper for sure.

Bit of a booze bomb, not sure if I ever got banana or vanilla

Sampled from the tap at Taste Of Tops. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has tropical fruits with a touch of citrus with a bit of sweet grains backing. Flavor has juicy citrus and light papaya with sweet grains and a touch of earthy grain.
