32oz crowler pours with an opaque turbid gold to dull copper body that supports a white head that leaves behind sticky spotty lacing. The aroma is pretty darnn spicy and danky, one of the dankest I’ve had in a while, with slivers of mango and cantaloupe in the background. The taste is similar with spicy danky hoppy onion dankness right up front and then running into a moderate level of sweet juicy mango and cantaloupe. To midway those flavors marry up and create a pleasing blended experience where it feels a bit strawberry, floral and grassiness amid the dankness and tropical fruitiness. Solid offering. I love me some danky hop bombs.

On tap at Goldwater, pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is pretty restrained, with light hop resins and very caramel malty character. Flavour is pretty muffled, with subdued hop resins, and loads of sweet caramel malts. Too sweet, no presence of peaches and lacking in hops. Good idea, but deficient execution. Needs work.

32oz crowler pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a lasting nearly tight tan head of foam. The aroma offers up highly roasted coffee, a bit of earthy coffee, a dash of nuttiness and then a malt sense toward the end of the draw. The taste starts off on the sweet side before my palate catches up to the roastiness that’s going on here. I get sweet malts leading quickly to sweet nuttiness and then progressively darker and darker roasted coffee notes. After a few sips the flavors begin to meld into a pretty nice harmony and balance as the sweetness is mostly balanced by the dark roastiness from the coffee. Nice.

Pours up with a nice hop hazed slightly dull gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangerine, tangelo, a bit of spicy hops, mint and a dash of strawberry. The taste delivers bitter spicy, floral and citrus hop bitterness as well as juicy tangelo and tangerine. To midway it picks up both strawberry, peach and mint like hoppiness. Pretty nice where plenty of hoppy bitterness takes this from beginning to end.

32oz crowler pours with a murky copper to amber colored body that has thin gold edges and supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up inviting fresh ripe raspberries followed by faint citrus and pine hops. The taste delivers tasty fruity fresh raspberry meat flowing into some sweet malts and somewhat vague hop bitterness. After a few more sips the hops take on a kind of pine and citrus grapefruit like hop bitterness. This offering blurs the line between a fruit beer and a IIPA. It’s bitter with hops but has a formidable fresh tasty raspberry fruitiness. Solid drinking experience.

32oz crowler pours with a deep dark colored body that supports a short lived dark mocha head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, nougat, a slight molasses note and faint dark fruity esters. The taste delivers similar notes as sweet malts, sweet dark fruity esters, dark roasted malts, malt balls, chocolate malts and a malty earthiness get things started. To midway the dark roasted malts grow into burnt malts just as a spicy black licorice note comes to the surface. Behind those notes lurks a wafer thin layer of malty earthiness with a faint sense of wet tobacco helps pull this experience together. Pretty solid offering.

32oz crowler pours with a clear deep copper to amber body that supports a light tan head. The modest aroma offers up lightly roasted malts and coffee as well as a faint vaguely pine like hoppiness. The taste delivers a modest level of lightly roasted coffee. It then picks up a moderate bitter hoppiness that’s pine and spicy, a slight earthy tea note and then a dash of citrus hops. Toward the finish it develops a nice mild cracker like maltiness. The hops and malts and cracker note create a pleasing harmony. Fun beer.

32oz crowler pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a light tan head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The moderate aroma offers up tangerine citrus candy, ripe tangelo and then a bit of orange zest with a slight cracker malt sensation in the background. The taste delivers a fresh crisp balance of juicy and bitter citrus like hoppiness. I get sweet juicy tangelo and tangerine running quickly into bitter grapefruit, orange zest and nectarine. It just glides that way crisply into the finish. This creates a tasty balance and freshness that can be consumed just all day. Glad I have at least 32oz here to sip through.
