The name Black Bridge Brewery comes from the name of a small iron bridge a few kilometers south of Swift Current, in the rolling south west Saskatchewan prairies. The bridge is well known among residents of Swift Current and has long been the subject of myths, stories of hauntings, afternoons spent fishing in the Swift Current creek which flows beneath and countless wedding and family photo shoots.
Like the beer which has become its namesake, the bridge serves as a humble but beloved icon for those in the area, and one whose spirit is reflected in our values as down-to-earth, strong, honest and proud to represent Saskatchewan brewing.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, peach, mango and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, orange pith, mango, peach, oats and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Juicy and bitter! Not bad.

Can from CCC. Cloudy medium gold with a large foamy off white head that fades slowly and generates lots of stringy lace. Nose is citrus peel, caramel malts, pine, grapefruit, grass. Light+ bready sweetness with a big bitter middle of pine and grass. mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. 7+/4/6/3+/14
Certainly has the potent sage and rye. Base beer is quite good though. Costco adventkal

low tartness, low body. Not bad for the style, but the malt bill is lacking to make up for the low sourness. winstons

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Dark red-amber colour. Dark fruits aroma, bit of dust, Porto wine. Good body strength, sour malt flavour, dark fruits with some cocoa/roast character.
Good.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pinkish peach with a small white head. Aroma reveals a lot of nice bugs, with a nice tart cherry character, and some wood. Flavour is nicely complex, with tart cherries, wood, and a nice wild yeast blend. Nicely constructed, with only subtle tartness on the finish. Good stuff.
