All Pints North 2016. Cloudy yellow color. Moderately sour. Not sure what the flavors are, lots of malt taste, some sugar. Flavors seem a little muddled. I am not tasting whiskey specifically but some dryness which I attribute to the oak.

(Thanks, Shawn! "MacBoost") Bottle. A- Applesauce, cider, lychee, white wine. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Tart, musky, grapes, champagne, sake, cider. P- Medium body, average texture, medium carbonation, tart finish. O- Interesting beer for sure. Unlike anything Iβve had. Mostly cider and champagne like. As odd as it was I actually kind of liked it...

Winterfest 2016. Dark red with pink foam. Very little in the aroma, some cherry skin and yeast. Flavor is dry and earthy, not a lot going on here. A little cherry, but I expected it to be sour and it is not sour at all, at least not yet. I wonder if it needs some time to condition in the bottle? Update to may 2020. Time in the bottle did great things for this beer. Score increases. Much more tart and still a lot of fruit.

Winterfest 2016. A still mead. Heavy, dark and sweet. I smell the walnut, and get honey as well. Very sweet. the walnut is surprisingly prominent here, I smell it before the glass is close to my nose. Very unusual, for a Minnesota product.

Thanks to Brian for this one. I get a lo of green pepper but somehow it works. Medium sweet and follow by dry roasted malt. Some coffee flavor, and honey adds to the sweetness.

Bottle. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grains with a bit of sweetness, a hint of spice, some coffee and a bit of barrel. Flavor has bourbon throughout with some roasted malts, dark grains and a bit of a smokey pepper note.
