Pressed, fermented, and bottled in Gloucestershire.
Dunkertons history reaches back to 1980 when Ivor and Susie Dunkerton made the decision to escape London and buy a small holding in Pembridge, Herefordshire. They realised that with such a small amount of land they needed to specialise in some form of agriculture and spotted that traditional cider making presented a fantastic opportunity.
In 2014 Ivor and Susie passed Dunkertons to their son Julian and his business partner Bean.
In 2016 the production business relocated to our new state of the art cidery at Dowdeswell Park, Cheltenham.

Bottle from Real Foods. Nose is crisp apple, dried apple chips, vanilla, wood. Palate is super dry apple, pear, white wine finish. Super dry and pretty strong, reminds me of a heavily carbonated most. Works, but not super well.

Bottle at home picked up from Canary Wharf Waitrose. A light hazed dull yellow gold coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is sour tangy apple, sour milky, woody, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of tangy sour, mouldy wood, tangy spicy apple, bitter granny smith , petrol, and hot alcohol. Palate is sour and tangy, spicy , moderate carbonation. Strong challenging cider. Not a big fan.

Many thanks to Minutemat for this bottle. Spicy floral nose. The cider starts fresh and fruity, alcohol is there, fruity fresh apples, moderate sweetness. Tart in the end, very round with tannins and a nice sweetness.
