Pours cloudy maroon. Pumpkin and spice. Pumpkin pie feel, would be good for those into this kind of thing. Tap at Black Squirrel.

Bottle at home, 11/06/14, acquired from the bottle shop at the rear of Capones, Norristown PA. Pours black with a good sized tan head that retains well. Nose is roast malt, cherry well evident, chocolate, light metallic notes. Taste comprises milk chocolate, chocolate dipped cherries, light roast, Medium bodied, fine massageing carbonation, sweet vs lactic ring in the close. Solid sweet stout, gets the cherry and chocolate message across to the viewer without being sweet or messy.

Pumpkin bread aroma, no extraneous spicing, just sweet bread. Clear copper, medium head. Very bready pumpkin, light cinnamon accents. Excellent and just the right amount of sweetness. Wow, this was sucha wonderful surprise.

Cloudy orange pour with a tall, sticky white head. Malty aroma with some faint citrus hops. The flavor is lightly bitter with a lot of malt sweetness. Some bitterness in the finish. Muddy. Just not a good crisp hoppy IPA. Has the sweetness that I don’;t like in a lot of Double IPAs that make them lackluster as well.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/16/14

Aroma: The aroma is dark chocolate and cherry, with some roasted notes as well
Appearance: Pours an almost black color with a small, light brown head
Flavor: The taste is medium-plus sweet, with some roasted notes for balance
Palate: The body is light-medium, it feels slightly thin, with a clean, mildly sticky finish
Overall Impression: This is definitely a sweet beer, but it isn't cloying or undrinkable, so that's nice. The flavor combination works pretty well. I'd call this a perfectly nice dessert beer.

Amber tinged orange colored body with some sediment that pours at the end.. Off white head. Aroma is citrus, melon and pine resin - all hops. The flavor is lightly sweet, the melon comes in again. The bitterness is there but the overall profile is slightly sweet. Light bodied, easy drinking for an IIPA.
