Bag in box direct from Ross on Wye. This expression is 5.6%. ot pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a few bubbles on top. The aroma is lovely apple character, crunchy fruits, apple skin, baked apple, nutty, leather, musty, barnyard, touch of vanilla custard. The taste is firmly dry, muted bitterness, crunchy apple, wood, earth, some tannin, apple skin, leather, splash of white wine, gooseberry, touch of pucker, must and mellow barnyard with a drying, tannic finish. Medium bodied. Love that this is their medium dry, as it is dryer than most other cideries dry. I like the balance to this..first pour of it for me, so will see what I think after 5 litres.

Bag in box at mother Kellys vauxhall. It pours hazy bright golden - yellow with a few bubbles on the cap. The aroma is musty, funky, barnyard, damp hay, tangy, ripe fermenting apples, apple pie, stone fruits and a twist of citrus. The taste is initially it is deceptively smooth, then dries out, dry oak, tannic, leather, apple skin, puckering, crunchy apple, kaki fruit, nip for booze, white grape skin and earth with a bone dry, tannin finish. Medium body and limited carbonation. Punchy and commands attention. Tannic and dry. Interesting sup. Not their most drinkable and but very unique.

75cl bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - very pale yellow with gentle carbonation (a very satisfying pop on opening and then easy).
Nose - baked apple, spice, earthy and forest floor.
Taste - sweet and baked apple, light spice and earthy.
Palate - light to medium bodied, light sweetness and then tangy, dryness on the finish.
Overall - very easy, if a little simple for these guys.
