The Award winning Cider and Perry Co are form the depths of the Wye valley. The Broome farm estate has been in the Johnson family for over 70 years, with a vast history of cider making. Surrounded by new and old orchards a like, Mike Johnson has constantly strived to plant many traditionally varieties. There are now well over 70 varieties of apple and Perry pears growing on the farm enabling the creation of unique blends and single variety ciders perrys and ciders. The farm is a hive of busy activity all year round, from hands on cider making experiences to guided walks through the orchards at blossom time and of course the all important cider testing’s.

750ml bottle from Bier Huis. Bottle 200 of 1337. Orangey gold colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, wood barrel, leather, oak, funk, tar, smoke. Taste is sweetish, some tartness, appley, fruity, with oak, wood, whisky barrel, meaty funk and drying tangy bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry woody tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is tart, zesty, perry peary, citric, lime, elderflower, floral with some drying acidity and tannin. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tart citric acidic peary finish. Nicely drinkable.
